Unlock the full rated output your engine block was built for. We reflash the EMM to the 60 HP version, no engine work, no new parts.
Water valve required, not every 40 HP qualifies
The 60 HP variant runs the cooling circuit harder, so a thermostatic water valve has to be fitted. We do not install it for you, you fit it yourself on the engine, but we can supply the correct part. Eligibility also depends on your specific block: not every 40 HP can step up to 60.

Same block, different label
The 40 and 60 HP E-TEC share the same hardware, but the 60 HP runs the engine harder. To handle the extra heat load, the cooling circuit on the 60 HP variant needs a thermostatic water valve that the 40 HP does not have. We supply the correct valve so the engine runs at the correct operating temperature at full load.

Get your cables
For a remote tune you need a Windows laptop at the boat, plus a diagnostic cable and a bootstrap cable. Use your own cables or buy the kit from us, and we send it before the session.
Tuned live at your dock
At a time you choose, you are at the boat and we connect to your laptop and reflash the EMM to 60 HP. It usually takes under an hour, and the EMM stays on the engine.
Full power, same session
Disconnect the cables and run the engine. It now delivers the full 60 HP.
You can also send the EMM in. Mail-in works worldwide by DHL Express, and we typically have it reflashed and back in the post within about three days of arrival. Choose remote or mail-in on the form below.
