Your service was nothing short of exceptional - which really is the summary of our whole experience. We live on a US Army base in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, so dealing with the logistics of getting items shipped in/out of our area can be very challenging. Hardware Care was very helpful in getting our EMM shipped in and easily helped us with the "oddness" of our shipping situation. Beyond all of the logistics difficulties, when the EMM arrived home, it was packaged well and in excellent condition. On installation, our problematic engine fired up with no coaxing, idled perfectly and had eliminated the errors we had seen previously. The following weekend, we were able to take it out for its first run under load and it performed perfectly. We ran a solid 27+ miles for our tests at variable RPMs and the engine was solid and reliable again.

The main fuse was blowing. Sam was excellent - always quick to respond to questions. The EMM has been repaired and returned and now needs to be fitted. My top tip is avoid Royal Mail if sending from the UK (you get charged to release it in NL and use their recommended courier.

I have had problems with my EMM 150 Ficht 2000 and find Hardware care on internet .
They have supported and answered all y questions in an excellent way (Sam and his team) during my problem solving time

How to get codes out without software , do different tests etc . It ended up that it was possible to solve the problem with an replacement unit
I have now received the unit and next step will be assembly to engine ( unfortunately I cant test it before spring) but I am 100% sure that it will work

Sent my emm to hardware care because the fuse suddenly started to blow. They was fast responding on mail and I was told that my emm was broken because of injector circuit was shorted in my emm and that i probably even had two bad injectors and it was not going to be easy to repair my emm but he fixed it and i got it back yesterday and it was very good looking with the new vulkanicing of the box. They even helped me with two new injectors and got them plug and play with the emm and they got them fast even if they were backordered. Havent tried it yet and fortunatly i must wait till spring because it has become winter. But i think it will going to work again. They have probably saved me much money and thats great, they seem to know there stuff.
After waiting a bit longer than I expected, the EMM for my Ficht 225 from 2000 runs flawlessly and all of my original data was preserved. I feel that the quality of repair is substantially better than what’s available in the USA. I had another emm for a 200 Ficht that’ll be sold to others and a third emm was purchased by the shop which offset some of my shipping fees. There was a minor problem with one unit and the issue was promptly addressed and parts were sent to take care of the problem.
My EMM died in the prime of salmon fishing so I was a very impatient and desperate customer with a lot of questions. Glen did a great job on the repair and putting up with me. Only 1 trip on the water but the boat seems to start easier and run better. In hindsight it seems there were warning signs of the EMM performance degrading and now I know how to better protect the device from failing again.
Repaired my Emm of my evinrude ficht 225hp at Christmas, only got the boat back in the water today and is running better than ever.

After trying to find somebody in the United States to do any Emm repair on my E-Tec which I was not able to find I reached out to Glenn with Hardware care and he was very helpful he helped me troubleshoot a few things to make sure the Emm was bad before sending it in. He also took care of all the shipping carriers. He was a piece of cake to work with and he had a back in a very quick time. I highly recommend these guys they do great work

A friend's emm was having problem to charge the batteries and the cost to a new one was 2000 euros. I am a dealer of evinrude and if it was mine I wouldn't buy a new one either. So we decided to send for repair. Within one and a half week the man was ready and travelling back to me. So we installed it and charging is fine. Definitely will send next emm will fail to these guys.

After last boat season my engine died completely. I got it back un-repaired from a workshop after they had changed one injector. “Your EMM is dead and getting a new one will cost you about 2000 Euro”, they told me. After some pondering I came upon Hardware Care’s homepage. It all sounded too good to be true, having the EMM repaired for 380 EURO (+ VAT)! After a very reassuring chat, I disassembled the EMM and sent it to the Netherlands. (The procedure well explained.) Two and a half week later I had it back, very delicately repaired, and I put it back in. I had another workshop overseeing the engine and changing the electric cable from the battery. Put the boat on water in June, and it has worked like clockwork since. I wholeheartedly recommend Hardeware Care’s EMM repairs and customer's service.
